One of the best weddings I've ever experienced. Peter managed to arrange for a bar - BQ get together with the closest of friends on a pleasant Saturday afternoon in Round Rock. He and Rebecca also managed to (mostly) keep a secret that they'd be wed during the outing. To take it a step further, Peter managed to keep the secret from Rebecca that Tim, their best friend, was officially ordain 2 weeks earlier and would perform their vows. A friendly get together in the backyard turned wedding day. Fantastic !!!
Hello everyone, and welcome to my Blog. I just received the first batch of RSX Studios T-shirts and I am thrilled ! I used Rocksport in Round Rock, and this is their specialty. I would like to produce T-shirts with Photo-ARTWORK soon, but I already know that they will sell fast at $40 each, because they are not mass produced , in other words, print to order. But, for now I know summer will coming fast and I like wearing t-shirts when I work. This is part of the uniform, unless it's a formal wedding, of course... Thanks for your support!
I met Mike Brito at a Mixer Event and in conversation shows me a video clip on his smartphone of a martial arts competition that he's in. I am a fan of martial arts and now sitting next to me is a champion. So, we arranged for a photo shoot during his following business visit to Austin. But, we shoot in Georgetown before he checks into his hotel. The shoot is scheduled for late afternoon. I look at the clear sky and hope for a few clouds to roll in. We headed for The Blue Hole around 6:30 and there are very few people at the park. I look up again and clouds are rolling in.
Mike has his complete outfit and sword, I have my studio light and speed light. The challenge is always having enough light for the shadow side of my subject while achieving blue sky greatness or in the case, blue sky and cloud greatness. He gets into position and holds a variety of moves for a series of photographs. All elements came together and I couldn't be happier.
RSX STUDIOS is Out and About in Austin photographing some interesting people and places. The Pecan Street Festival was also in full swing, while Cinco de Mayo celebrations were just a few blocks away. The aromas of Mexican street cuisine made me really hungry. It was a warm afternoon and I have a sweet tooth for ice cream. A pint of Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate satisfied all of my cravings for the afternoon.
Music poured from several stages and I sensed people wanted to dance, but not much room on the crowded paths. A few more beers and feet will shuffle to the beat ...
Over the years I've been evolving and growing as a photographer as well as a business owner in the Georgetown community. It is important to make necessary changes to a business model in order to succeed because the markets are also changing along with cultures. The internet and digital world is a culture that is rapidly changing every season and can force businesses to change their model to continue to succeed.
I started with a free website with Tripod and I thank everyone who visited and commented on http://rximenez.tripod.com. This site will soon terminate. While somewhat effective, it had many limitations and worse, images were beginning to be deleted even though I still had 1/2 gigabyte left in storage area. ANYWAY ... New website, which is now searchable, crawlable, Google find-able, and I'm pretty excited how it looks and how easy I can maintain it ! So, please enjoy www.rsxstudios.com and feel free to leave any comments.
