I was pleasantly surprised that I was hired to be the official photographer of the Republic of Texas Biker Rally 2013 in Austin. I really had a hard time believing it but, I had to out do myself since last years' photos were pretty amazing. I got to meet quite a few celebrities and photograph them in the excitement of the rally. Three days of events and live music. I even caught a wedding ceremony in one of the tents. So the word is, I'm wanted back again for next year and Arlen Ness will build the Military Bike to be given away to a lucky veteran.
There is little question how I love photography. People are my favorite-est subject for so many reasons. It's always about memories, either real or created, yet for me, it is the soul of a person that eventually transcends from a protected and guarded state then reveals and unravels in front of my camera lens.
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Christopher Milton of Georgetown who is an up and coming actor and needed an updated head shot for his portfolio. I'm always delighted to work with someone who believes in themselves and further demonstrates confidence and talent while following direction for emotion and character. I have no doubt that talent scouts and directors will find his quality refreshing delightful.
